About the program

We are looking for a Textile Engineer to work with a variety of organic, sustainable materials and natural fibers. They may be responsible for developing fabrics for baby clothing, new mother, crib, and children. 
Job Opening: Textile Engineer
liaising with and providing technical advice to design, marketing, purchasing and production staff
creating products in response to given specifications by the R&D head
producing samples and dyeing and printing textiles
evaluating, identifying and selecting fabrics/products from suppliers
ensuring that products meet set requirements and specifications (eg colour fastness, durability etc)
checking products for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions
controlling production and problem-solving
dealing with customer queries and complaints
keeping up to date with trends and innovations.

Qualification requirements: 
A Must be B.E / B.Tech / Diploma Textile Engineering from a reputed institute
Minimum of 2 years experience with textile or sustainable natural materials, processing, and characterization
Strong writing and communication skills in English and local language
Experience linking textile properties, structure, processing, and performance
Analyse problems and implement solutions using critical thinking skills and focused improvement methods
Should have a good working knowledge of MS WORD, EXCEL, CAD, and machinery handling
